An in-house publication by the esteemed bookbinding establishment-detailing both the history of the craft and its own work, then based at the Cambridge Works, Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

200 x 145mm, half-title, title (bearing the date 1895), 14p History of Bookbinding with in-text engravings, Glossary of Styles and Terms Used in Binding 17-28p including 9 in-text engravings of binders at the various operations, 29-38p show casing the work of the company, including 7 photographic plates of the outside and inside of the workshop including images of binders at work. Grey card cover with lettering in red to the front cover and the Zaehnsdorf  ex libris reproduced (the cover bearing the date, 1913).

A clean, fine copy.  This is a RARE work in any condition, but especially so in the original cover.  This would appear to be a later edition.
